November Field Trip Our Nov. 28th field trip to Louis Del Favero Orchids was a huge success. A good time was had by all. I saw a lot of plants going to new homes with our members. When Laurie and I were finished cleaning up and ready to leave, Lyla and Jenevy were still shopping (somehow there always seems to be room for one more plant). A big thank you goes out to Laurie Nissen for yet another excellent field trip and of course to Jim "King of the Grill" Clarkson for all of his hard work at the grill. On her way out, Mary Alice commented to Jim that he smelled like a perfectly smoked ham, we are all going to miss her wit when she moves away. Don't forget, the Christmas party is coming up soon, Tuesday, Dec.12th @ 11:00 a.m.
